Responsibilities
• Meet with project requesters and analyze requests• Plan, design, estimate, schedule, direct, and inspect renovations• Review specifications and project documents• Manage, monitor, and direct contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants• Inspect materials and coordinate daily work• Maintain necessary job records• Provide interpretation of contract requirements• Establish punch list items for completion• Review and assess sketches and directives for code compliance• Prepare and present contract change orders and addendums• Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
• Knowledge of spatial design, drafting tools, materials, engineering principles, construction standards, ADA regulations, code interpretation, and project sequence• Skill in preparing documents, directing project teams, problem-solving, and decision-making• Ability to understand and interpret complex documents, communicate effectively, and confirm plan accuracy• Preferred qualifications include certifications, education, training, and experience in sediment & erosion control, construction management, architecture/environmental design, historical preservation projects, and AutoCAD
