M&J Engineering is seeking experienced Construction Inspectors in the Washington Metropolitan Area.Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with contract provisions.Opportunities for growth and development in a quality consulting firm.

Responsibilities
• Inspection of daily construction work for compliance with contract plans and specifications.• Testing of materials.• Review contractor submittals.• Requests for information and coordination with the contractor.• Monitor maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT).• Prepare daily inspection reports.• Perform field measurements and computations.• Participate in meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.• Other responsibilities as warranted.
Requirements
• Undergraduate Degree in Civil, Structural, Traffic Engineering or similar.• 1-5 years related work experience.• Experience with various types of construction projects.• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.• ACI and NICET certifications required.• OSHA certification required.
