Construction Estimator

We are a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business currently seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team and provide accurate estimates and budgeting for commercial construction and cold storage projects. Position Overview: The Construction Estimator is responsible for reading and understanding construction documents and providing accurate estimates for projects including budgets, deadlines, and materials. The Estimator will evaluate bids and review contracts for cold storage, tilt up , and other construction projects.
Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications for commercial construction projects. Analyze subcontractor bids and develop project estimates. Calculate project cost estimates including materials, labor, and overhead. Work with the Project Manager to develop project budgets. Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors. Perform periodic job cost analysis and review job progress. Create and maintain detailed project reports. Qualifications: 5+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of commercial construction and cold storage projects. Experience with cold storage and/or tilt-up projects REQUIRED. Project management experience a major plus. Excellent understanding of construction materials, techniques, and cost estimation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Budgeting experience is a plus. Benefits - $120,000 - $140,000 salary based on experience
