Our client is seeking a skilled Earthwork Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, particularly in earthwork projects. You will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits, and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive cost estimates. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of earthwork processes are essential for success in this role.
Estimator Responsibilities:
* Review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand project scope and requirements.
* Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate site conditions, soil composition, and other factors affecting earthwork.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
Estimator Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field highly preferred.
* In-depth knowledge of earthwork processes, including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
* Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
