Construction Engineering Representative - Neenah, WI Benesch is seeking a Construction Representative to join our talented and growing Construction team in our Neenah, Wisconsin, office. As a Field Construction Representative, you will oversee the construction operations of various transportation projects to ensure day-to-day activities are consistent with the plans and specifications. You will collaborate with contractors and state/municipal governmental agency representatives to review and provide input and serve as an advisor throughout the construction process by attending pre-construction and progress meetings and preparing and presenting status reports.
The ideal Construction Representative will have experience conducting topographic surveys, preparing erosion control & grading plans, and valid Construction Site Management, Erosion & Sediment Control, or Concrete Inspection certifications.

What you will do: Perform construction observation of construction activities, including maintaining a field book in accordance with project procedures Prepare Inspector's Daily Reports and other project documentation as required by the project procedures and as directed by the project supervisor. Report to the project supervisor on the progress of work, including technical issues, the status of work remaining to be done, and any noted deficiencies Comply with all project and company safety guidelines, reviewing plans, specifications, and submittals relating to assigned work Provide design or other professional assistance to project managers as assigned What you will need: BS in Civil or Construction Management/Engineering or in a related engineering curriculum required Experience working on field projects, specifically with WisDOT, is desired Experience utilizing ArcGIS, Microstation, Geopak, and/or AutoCAD is desired Strong verbal/written communication, organization, and ability to perform services efficiently and within budgets and schedules Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment A valid driver's license and a good driving record required #LI-MM1 Explore the Benefits of working at Benesch!
