Responsibilities
• Coordinate construction quality management program for assigned projects• Review and provide recommendations for contractor quality control plan• Attend meetings and monitor checklists for accuracy and thoroughness• Validate materials on site and coordinate testing and commissioning• Assure quality workmanship and review test reports• Keep Government sponsor advised of project status• Review and ensure safety compliance• Support mishap investigations and contractor compliance reporting• Coordinate with construction contractor representatives and resolve issues• Assist with permits, communication connections, and facility turnover
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years experience as Quality Control Manager or 10 years foreman experience• Experience in Concrete, Mechanical, Electrical, Masonry, or Carpentry trades• Knowledge of construction quality management programs• Familiarity with safety requirements and crane operations• Ability to review and coordinate technical and administrative submittals• Problem-solving skills to investigate engineering problems• Completion of required training courses (CQM-C and OSHA 30 hour outreach)
