In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in managing construction costs on a national scale, working alongside our talented real estate teams to bring our projects to life.
Your Role:
As a Construction Cost Project Analyst, you'll be the backbone of our construction endeavors, ensuring that every project stays within budget without compromising on quality. Here's what you'll be up to:
Collaborating closely with Construction Managers to develop negotiation strategies with contractors.
Partnering with our real estate leaders to determine the most effective project scopes.
Providing valuable pricing data to our regional teams for consistent decision-making.
Analyzing bids meticulously to identify the best fit for each project.
Keeping a pulse on market trends to guide our pricing strategies.
Actively seeking out cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing excellence.
What You Bring to the Table:
We're looking for someone with:
A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in construction estimating.
Sharp attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite and RS Means software (or similar).
