Role and Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish Collaborate with contractors to ensure specifications are met Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations Serves as the company's inspector for project management and subcontracting progress, and delays. Understanding of construction procedures and project management principles. Have a good working knowledge of all project documents, including specifications, plans, submittals, subcontracts, shop drawings, and any other project-specific documents. Excellent project management ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks. Maintain construction costs through effective bidding and negotiating costs with trade partners. Possess knowledge of unit costs, takeoffs, and estimating. Assist in the interpretation of contract plans, specifications, and construction plans. Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate and Construction terminology. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Work with hotel leadership to ensure projects are scheduled at the right time for the hotel so it does not interfere with the Overall Guest Experience. Promote a safe working environment. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in construction project management or related field preferred Minimum two years experience in construction project management/coordination Must have a valid driver's license Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred This in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
