Job Description As a Conference Services Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of high- level retreats, meetings, and events hosted within our resort. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating all aspects of their event from the initial planning call to post-event evaluation. With a focus on exceptional customer service and meticulous attention to detail, you will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to deliver memorable experiences that exceed our guests' expectations and uphold the reputation of our hotel as a premier venue for corporate gatherings.
Qualifications Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and internal departments to plan and execute all aspects of the event, including meeting room setup, audiovisual equipment, catering needs, activities, and accommodations.
Create detailed banquet event orders and timelines to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of services.
Upsell additional services and amenities to enhance the event experience and maximize revenue opportunities.
Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to fulfill client requests for additional services, such as decor, transportation, and entertainment.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors during the event, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Gather feedback from clients and attendees to evaluate the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.
Document event details, including attendance, revenue, and client satisfaction, to inform future planning and decision-making.
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field (preferred).
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Salesforce/Delphi, Opera software and Google Suite preferred.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
