Ascend Concrete is searching for a highly-skilled Concrete Foreman to join our team. We need an experienced leader with the capability to manage a construction project efficiently from start to finish. If you're knowledgeable in the construction and concrete industry, we'd love to talk to you! You can look forward to receiving a generous sign-on bonus of between $1,500 and $5,000 (depending on experience), in addition to our competitive wages. After the initial 30-day period, you'll be provided with your own work vehicle.Responsibilities:Supervise, lead, and collaborate with crew members: Oversee and support personnel assigned to the project.Provide training and mentorship to new employees, fostering a culture of productivity and maintaining high-quality standards: Equip new team members with the necessary skills to deliver excellent results.Develop plans, organize tasks, and create schedules for concrete projects, ensuring efficient allocation of resources: Set up and optimize processes to ensure that each project is completed on time and within budget.Interpret and comprehend construction plans, blueprints, and specifications accurately: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards: Systematically inspect the project site to make sure requirements are met.Identify and address any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project, implementing timely resolutions: Resolve conflicts or problems promptly to ensure the successful completion of the project.Survey job layout utilizing Total Station: Utilize Total Station to survey the site properly.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman, with a minimum of 5 years in the field (preferred)Ability to delegate work to crew members and make quick and accurate decisionsSolid understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them rigorouslyPhysical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditionsAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workStrong communication and teamwork skillsOSHA 10 Certification (or willing to obtain)Valid Driver's licenseAbout Company:Ascend Concrete is a growing construction company, specializing in commercial concrete projects in the Pennsylvania region.
