Brayman Precast is inviting all concrete specialists who are interested in a full time Concrete Finisher job located in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania , to apply to join our precast concrete finishing crew. SCHEDULE, PAY AND BENEFITS OF THE CONCRETE FINISHER Typical schedule is 10:00am 6:30pm, Monday -Friday with the possibility of overtime as needed.

ABOUT THE CONCRETE FINISHER JOB As a Concrete Finisher, you will work on various industrial, commercial, institutional and related projects that supply the construction field. This position is part of our finishing crew which performs all phases of concrete production, placement and finishing . Performs daily preparation and maintenance of equipment and hand tools. Operates overhead cranes and pneumatic equipment to transport and place fresh concrete. Uses electric vibrators to consolidate concrete. Uses a variety of tools, such as straight-edges, floats, rakes, shovels, trowels, and brooms to apply required finishes to fresh concrete. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Our Concrete Finisher will provide a vital service to our company by ensuring our product meets or exceeds standards. We are looking for someone with a positive and dedicated attitude to work with our team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of formal apprenticeship or directly related experience. Experience with batching, placing and finishing concrete preferred. Experience operating an overhead crane preferred. Thorough understanding of the characteristics of concrete. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to create, lay and use concrete forms. Understanding of and ability to use tools related to concrete. Ability to work well with others. Excellent verbal communication skills. This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions. This position may require working at heights, in confined spaces, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis.
