Concessions Attendant Washington City Community Center Wage: $11.00 Hourly (Free Individual Community Center Membership while employed) GENERAL PURPOSE Assists in the operation of the facilities that require the collection of monies for concessions within the Washington City Community Center Concession stand
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the general direction of the Aquatics Coordinator, and the specific direction of the Pool Coordinator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential functions include preparing and selling concession items along with assisting in cleaning responsibilities as needed. Monitors and maintains concessions table area, both on the pool area and in the lobby. Collect fees, make change, prepare deposits, and submit reports of fees collected. Assists Aquatics Coordinator, and Pool Coordinator when necessary. Performs other related work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience: Any combination of training and experience which will indicate possession of the skills, knowledge and abilities listed below. Minimum 1 year Experience Preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of basic mathematical skills and basic computer skills. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. Able to be courteous to fellow employees and community center patrons.
Special Qualifications: Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Utah food handlers permit. Must be 16 years or older.
Work Environment: Incumbent of the position performs in a typical concession setting with appropriate climate controls and typical settings associated with indoor/outdoor recreation. Tasks require a variety of physical activities. Communicating, i.e. talking, hearing, and seeing, is essential to job effectiveness. Common eye, hand, and finger dexterity exist. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, discriminating thinking and creative problem solving.
