Comptroller - Real Estate Development, General Contracter

Position Overview: The Comptroller is responsible for overseeing and managing the accounting, financial, and business operations of the organization. This position is integral to the growth and financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the organizations accounting function, including general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, cash forecasting, asset management, and asset protection. Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and laws. Prepare and present financial statements and budgets. Provide guidance and support to the organizations management team. Develop and implement effective financial controls to prevent errors and ensure accuracy. Identify and implement cost saving measures. Assist with the preparation and interpretation of financial data and forecasts. Monitor and analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, Master's preferred CPA desired, experience also a plus At least 5 years of experience in an accounting or financial operations role. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience with financial software such as NetSuite or construction accounting. Experience with property management accounting, real estate development, and general contracting is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
