Operates and controls a processing unit or a series of units to effect specific chemical changes in formulated products to desired resultsFollows prescribed and standardized procedures with some degree of latitude due to the reactive nature of the substances processedMeasures and charges materials into processing equipment, transfers same in accordance with processing sequence

Responsibilities
• Observes instruments and gauges, obtains samples for testing, maintains process records as required• Regulates and adjusts manual, automatic or electronic control devices to bring about proper chemical reaction or results• Modifies standard processes under the direction of the lab to correct batch irregularities
