About Cobalt & Specialty Materials Mastering the cobalt value chain. Umicore's expertise covers the sourcing, production and distribution of cobalt and nickel products. Umicore's materials are at the heart of products we use every day such as rechargeable batteries, tools, paints and tires. Our recycling and refining processes give new life to cobalt and other metals and reduce environmental impacts. To meet the demands of our customers we cannot stand still. What you will be doing As our Compliance Specialist, you will be supporting our ISO 9001 and 14001 quality and environmental systems, environmental regulatory compliance, and compliance with global sustainability and health/safety guidelines.  Specifically, this will include:
Collecting and organizing data for completion of environmental reports; Evaluating and facilitating compliance to corporate standards for global sustainability and health/safety, including the collection and reporting of key indicators, as well as identifying actions to improve metrics; Collecting information for incident investigations; Participating in EHS evaluations and inspections; Planning and participating in ISO internal audits; Controlling ISO documents and working with process owners to maintain the policies, procedures, and work instructions required to meet ISO standards; Other duties as needed. Experience collecting, organizing, and reporting data; Exposure to ISO systems (training to be provided); The ability to work both independently and within a team environment; Accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Proficient computer skills; and, Strong organizational skills. Additional Information This position is located at the Palm Commodities International, LLC facility.  The facility is a Drug-Free Workplace, and pre-employment drug testing is required.
