Position Summary: As a Company Driver for Regional Routes based in Smyrna, TN, you will play a crucial role in transporting goods within the Southeast region. Enjoy the benefits of regional routes with consistent home time, typically every other day. With routes serving major automotive manufacturers like FCA, Nissan, GM, and FCA Michigan, drivers can expect to cover 800 to 1200 miles per route with 1 to 4 stops.
Benefits & Compensation: $0.50 per mile. Home for the most part every other day. Weekly direct deposit. Assigned, modern equipment. No overtime. Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years. Previous logistics or warehousing experience preferred. Acceptable work history for the past 10 years with gaps in employment accounted for. Valid long-form physical and medical card performed within the last 12 months. Negative DOT drug test result prior to employment. No discharge for safety reasons from a previous employer. No more than 2 license suspensions for non-moving violations. No more than 2 moving violations in any motor vehicle within the last 3 years. No license suspension or disqualification for traffic convictions within the last 3 years. Location and Shift Details: Regional routes within a 40-mile radius. Drivers typically leave out Sunday and return Monday, leave Tuesday and return Wednesday, and so on. Routes serving FCA, Nissan, GM, and FCA Michigan with 1 to 4 stops. Mileage per route varies from 800 to 1200 miles.
