**Shift:**
Full Time (40 hours)
Day Shift, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Non-Exempt
**Position Summary:**
Provides comprehensive mental health and life coaching support services in collaboration with members (clients) that support recovery and reflect established values of Creative Alternatives (member choice, natural consequences, high risk/high support, and utilizing the tenants of recovery- hope, meaningful roles, personal responsibility and empowerment) and follow JHBMC and Creative Alternatives established clinical practice and standards. Services and supports are provided in community settings which include
member's homes, job sites, schools, libraries, inpatient hospitals, emergency rooms, jails, shelters, medical clinics, and other public places. Staff are required to transport members in personal cars and agency vehicles as part of their job.
Education/Work Experience:
Work requires a high school level of educational development and up to one year of basic technical training and less than six months of previous experience.
**Licensure/Certification:**
Valid CPR care required
**Knowledge/Skills:**
Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.
Work requires the ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions. Work requires contact with patients and/or visitors, and requires courtesy and empathy.
Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
