That's where you come in! We are seeking a Community Manager to join a passionate group of content and community marketers for Dungeons & Dragons. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Marketing & Communications for D&D, this role will act as a representative of the D&D virtual table top development team to the community, acting as a liaison with between them. The content marketing handles developing player-facing communications and content to serve this community. Everything from developer videos, to community panels, to tutorials, to informational articles are created by this team. Take D&D to the next level with our new virtual tabletop (codenamed 'Sigil') built in Unreal 5. Designed to make D&D faster, easier, and even more visually exciting, the D&D VTT will bring D&D to new audiences and platforms. And we need specialists to join the party and share with the world what the next generation of D&D play will be. What You'll Do: Cultivate and develop a positive relationship with Sigil players on behalf of the company. Engage with players on public communications platforms, answer questions, convey information in-line with overall communication policies, and build strong links with players. Be an advocate for the Sigil player community and liaise with departments internally to provide guidance on community needs during development and beyond. Build and lead programs that facilitate communication of player feedback to the development team, and Sigil development decisions back to the player community. Build regular reports that distill community concerns and feedback. Collaborate with team members on communications, announcements, and other projects associated with Sigil development. Collaborate with other members of the community and content marketing teams to ensure that activities and programs are consistent with broader communication plans and campaigns. Work with the team in following established procedures to ensure a safe and constructive discussion environment. Ensure legendary content quality across all communications you handle! What You'll Bring: Strong communications and listening skills. Strong organizational, project management, coordination, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to handle stressful public interactions with tact, perseverance, and excellent judgment. A confirmed grasp of business needs as they apply to community management. A player-focused approach to cultivating the company's relationship with the players, balanced with a business and goal-oriented approach. The ability to articulate strategies and plans in a way any partner can understand. A data-informed curiosity for finding out what works better. A bias for action—you are a "do-er," a self-starter, and you take initiative. A deep dedication to collaboration and teamwork—you strive to make the team and the company better. An empathetic approach to working relationships, especially in support of your team. Able to adapt quickly to changing business priorities as advised by team lead. Able to take constructive feedback well. Passion for developing a constructive and inclusive online communities through strong, effective community management. Experience working with different communications platforms to meet community management objectives. Solid understanding of TTRPG game culture and communities, active member of the D&D community a significant plus. 4+ years' professional experience in community management roles in a video game development or publishing environment, preferably working on live service-based games.
