Description COMMUNITY DIRECTOR - Sparks, NVLewis Apartment Communities, a division of one of the largest Real Estate developers in the nation, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Apartment Community Director to lead the team at Lewis' upscale community, in Sparks, NV. More about Lewis: The Lewis Group of Companies is one of the nation's largest privately held real estate development companies. The Lewis Group focuses on developing planned communities in California and Nevada, as well as building and owning rental communities, shopping centers, and office and industrial parks. WHAT YOU WILL DO: As our successful new leader, you will effectively manage community operations and team management programs at this 306 apartment home community, balancing the very best in customer service with a smooth running Lewis property, to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, property value, community maintenance and team morale. Your duties will include:
Consistent leadership of your Leasing, Maintenance, and Grounds-keeping staff, including hiring, motivating, monitoring, and rewarding your teamBudget reporting, occupancy reports, variances, etc.Supervision of leasing and marketing activitiesEnsure and promote consistent resident satisfaction through effective follow-through and leadershipWorking with company software, including OneSite, MS Office (Word, Excel) and YieldStar
EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR SUCCESS: Our best Community Directors have 4+ years of property management experience, including a strong supervisory background and knowledge of property budgets and bookkeeping. You should know basic landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing, and your people skills should be exceptional. With our support, you will coach, reward and lead your team to success each and every day.
