Description of responsibilities:
Bachelor' s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Journalism, Writing Communications, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Three to five years' experience developing communication material and strategies. Demonstrated basic understanding of the principles of communication practices and tactics; ability to develop written or graphic communication materials for print, electronic media, and or Web. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload
1. Monitor Graphics Production Email In-box as well as Phone Calls.
2. Handle requests for "District Tags and rubber stamps; create new orders; and send to Vendor and track orders.
3. Handle requests for stationery (business cards, letterhead, envelope) orders; create new orders; and send to Vendor and track orders.
4. Perform support duties and assist other Coordinators, as required.
Required Skills/Attributes
Experience in copy, print or graphic design production is preferred.
Detail-oriented
Three or more years of experience as a Coordinator or Analyst
Good communication skills written and oral
Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Competency using a variety of computer software, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Desired Skills/Attributes
Experience in copy, print or graphic design production is preferred.
