DESCRIPTION Amazon is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and analytical internal communications manager to join our WW Operations Internal Communications (OIC) Global Campaigns team. This individual will lead the development and implementation of proactive safety campaigns and narratives for our global Operations workforce.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building creative, data driven, internal communications that have clear, measurable outcomes. They are an idea generator and builder of mechanisms that scale, with a strong sense of accountability, a talent for effective collaboration across diverse audiences, and a keen focus on delivering great customer experiences.
The candidate will work with broad stakeholder groups from all levels of the organization to establish priorities and develop strategies to track and meet goals. The individual will be a self-directed leader and have the capacity to move quickly with an unrelenting tenacity to get things done, and the ability to break down and solve complex problems. The candidate will have a history of thinking, and acting, big.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop strategy and lead execution of proactive safety campaigns for global Ops Workforce, in partnership with WHS and Ops leadership
• Own internal communications strategy and rollout on owned channels of new global safety programs, policies, and pilots, in partnership with WHS and Ops leadership
• Support the strategy and safety narrative on global tentpole campaigns including Prime Day and Peak
• Work closely with International Campaigns lead to gather regional and local inputs from outside of North America to inform safety campaigns
• Navigate a heavily matrixed organization and influence a wide range of stakeholders who may have competing priorities
• Regularly support issues through the team's on-call rotation

- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience communicating complex subject matter to a diverse audience
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Experience communicating safety and health topics to large, diverse audiences
