Position Summary: The Athletics Communication Manager position is a 12-month position. The Athletics Communication Manager assists with developing and supervising the execution of communication programs and may supervise personnel and/or other resources in support of athletics communication goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Preferred degree in communications, journalism, sports management or related field Two years' experience in intercollegiate athletic communications/sports information Experience with Microsoft Office, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite applications, Sidearm or Presto web platforms, NCAA LiveStats, Stat Crew, Automated Scorebook and various social media platforms Strong written and oral communication skills Knowledge base of the playing and statistical rules for UWRF's 20 varsity intercollegiate sports Ability to meet deadlines and work nights/weekends Special Instructions to Applicants: Applicants are required to apply online.
