Web Content Manager position at the Department of Enterprise Services (DES)Responsible for overseeing agency websites and content governance strategyPart of a 3-year web transformation project to improve digital experience
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Plan, develop, administer, and direct an integrated content strategy• Manage web team and oversee agency web content strategy• Implement agency branding on websites and improve content through user testing• Advise agency top management on public information activities• Lead governance of agency website and develop policies for website content• Collaborate with other divisions to identify reputational risk• Analyze public understanding of agency programs and develop educational programs• Assign content projects to writers and review/approve work• Prepare for and respond to crisis situations in communications• Serve on Communications agency crisis communications team
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, marketing, or related field• Five years of professional experience in marketing, branding, content development, or related field• Proficiency in strategic communications, marketing planning, and consumer behavior• Ability to produce written, visual, and verbal communications about complex topics• Experience managing and leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment• Knowledge of readability, usability, and accessibility guidelines• Basic experience in website management, photography, and videography• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
