What You'll Do: • Respond to and resolve customer service requests in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Review audit information returned by the audit vendor and ensure accuracy of audit.
• Prepare underwriting instructions for Commercial Package, Business Owners, and Workers Compensation policies for Underwriters and other personnel.
• Coordinate all audit functions.
• Research and interpret new company guidelines and share information with team members.
• Train entry level employees.
• Correspond with the audit vendor, agent, Commercial Services Coordinator, and the Underwriter to collect necessary information not provided by the audit.
• Identify items that need Underwriter approval or to resolve audit problems.
• Retrieve and review policy information to accurately order all levels of audits from the appropriate audit vendor and track their progress.
• Communicate with the audit vendors to ensure that audit reports are prepared according to Farm Bureau's audit criteria document and underwriting manual according to State and Federal regulations.
• Research within multiple external internet web-sites to maintain accuracy, identify errors, and take appropriate action to comply with State and Federal regulations.
What it takes to Join Our Team Associates Degree or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience required. Associate in Insurance Services certificate and Associate in General Insurance is required. Must have in-depth knowledge of Worker's comp/procedures including various state and federal compliance rules/regulations for Minnesota Workers Compensation Insurance Association, Utah Labor Commission, National Council on Compensation Insurance, Premium Audit Advisory Service, Internal Company Underwriting Manual, Scopes Manual, SharePoint and Homefield. Excellent research, organizational, problem solving and systems skills are required. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Bilingual helpful. Reasonably regular and predictable attendance. • Excellent oral and written communication skills as appropriate to this position.
