We are seeking a Commercial Insurance Scheduler with strong communication and superior customer service skills who has extensive experience working with insurance companies. This individual will play a crucial role in effectively communicating with families, as it relates to complex insurance processes and scheduling requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrate customer service excellence in every encounter Answer phones, text messages, emails to schedule initial evaluations and readmitted patients Manage individual queue of patients Enter and maintain accurate information and communication notes in electronic medical record (EMR) and maintain confidentiality with protected health information (PHI) High level non-governmental insurance conversations with families to include: home health coverage, out-of-pocket cost estimates, and authorization requirements and statuses Maintain a working knowledge of how to assist families with non contracted commercial payers Attend routine and ad hoc meetings with Patient Financial Services Department regarding commercial insurance patients Help children and families live their best lives Other duties as assigned.
