Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager , your primary responsibilities include:
* Assist with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs.
* Help manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents.
* Take a leadership role in the QA/QC process, material expediting and tracking.
* Aid in the management of subcontractors and other team members.
* Build strong client/owner relationships and support business development efforts.
Qualifications:
* Four-year degree within the construction, engineering, or business concentrations strongly preferred
* 1+ experience in commercial/multifamily construction
* Passion for construction and our industry
* Must demonstrate a strong ability to:
* Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong focus on audience appropriate business writing and verbal skills
* Demonstrate a positive attitude and passion for construction and our industry
* Gather data, interpret it into meaningful information, and relay that information through clear, concise communication strategies; ability to see how pieces and processes fit into and affect the bigger picture/business model
* Organize and manage tasks and priorities
* Adapt and exercise flexibility with the ever-changing world of technology, design, means and methods
* Collaborate with people of various backgrounds and styles
* Build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
