We work hard every day to serve others and create rich lives for our employees, their families, and the communities where we work and live.Job DescriptionNorco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Combination Store Warehouse/Purchasing position. The Warehouse/Purchasing person is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion. The primary duty of each employee is to perform their job functions so as to maximize the profits of Norco. Every employee is required to be punctual, efficient, ethical, and professional in conduct and dress and to work as part of a team with a positive attitude with respect for coworkers and customers.Receive all freight shipped to the storeBin locate all items received for stock into their appropriate locationsMonitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and place orders when necessaryGenerate Purchase Orders and Return Goods Authorization information when neededCoordinate cycle counts and rental inventory in branch locationPrepares all items to be shipped dailyNotifies appropriate parties of shipments receivedMaintain bin locations and bar code labels of inventory in warehouseMaintain bin locations and bar code labels in show room with up-to-date pricingEducates staff on inventory accuracy and reduction of human errorsMaintains the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashionAdhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rulesPerform other tasks as assigned or neededPay: $17.00/hr - $22.00/hr Depending on ExperienceQualificationsHigh school graduate or equivalentGood communications skillsGood organizational and customer service skillsBasic mathematics skillsBasic knowledge of industrial and medical home care products and suppliesAccurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the positionAbility to lift up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basisAbility to read written materials, PC screen, etc.Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customersPrevious computer experienceMarkets the company in a positive and professional mannerAdditional InformationNorco offers a competitive compensation/benefit package, including:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Health, Vision and Dental InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Medical and Dependent Care Flex Accounts (FSA)Life Insurance provided at no cost to employee by Norco through United HeritageSupplemental Accident, Disease, and Life Insurance through Colonial Life InsuranceEmployee Tuition Reimbursement401(k) with Employer MatchingWellness ProgramEmployee Discount on products sold by NorcoNorco, Inc is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Norco, Inc is a drug-free workplace.
