Title:  Color Chemist
Location:  Linden, NJ
Schedule:  M-F Full Time
Type:  Contract to hire 
Responsibilities: Developing color solvent based formulations Optimizing existing formulations Evaluating new raw materials Requirements: BS in Chemistry with At least 1 year of lab experience in developing color solvent based formulations or Associate degree with at least 1-5 years of working in TPM/companies specialized in manufacturing in developing solvent based lacquer formulations Experience in developing new formulations prototypes to send to customers for approval Adept in optimizing existing formulations with a collaborative mindset Experience in formulating with effect pigments, pearlescent pigments, absorption pigments and the respective dispersion Able to communicate effectively in English with customers and internal staff members Versed in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word and Email. Experience in working in lab R&D environment Adept in Evaluating new Raw materials in model formulations Experience in supervising and mentoring younger scientists a plus Curious, able to think outside box Benefits
