As a member of the Facilities Business Operations Services team, the successful candidate will assist the team in cataloging renewable technologies within SRP facilities and electric transportation infrastructure. The team is developing internal programs and procedures, optimizing existing assets, but also communicating to employees and management updates.
What You'll Do Provide technical and administrative support for Facilities Services driven sustainability programs/initiatives through data collection, tracking and assessment of findings Assess or propose sustainable opportunities while considering cost effectiveness and technical feasibility Complete research (online/field) and benchmarking activities as requested Complete various site inventory projects as requested, including meter inventory of power, water, EV chargers, solar, etc. Collaborate with subject matter experts (internal/external) - i.e . ASU or SRP Sustainability department Complete electrical engineering submittals Attend company/department/team trainings and meetings as appropriate Collaborate with Engineers to provide project support for development, design, construction, and post-construction activities Analyze utility bill data and sub-meter data for buildings or for building systems Assist with the assessment of project requirements to evaluate opportunities for energy efficiency Analyze and document building, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing systems Investigate, analyze, and document energy conservation and water cost reduction measures What It Takes To Succeed We require individuals capable of transitioning seamlessly between independent analysis and collaborative assignments with other stakeholders. Candidates must be self-motivated, possess a strong capability to adapt and frame solutions to complex issues, often with conflicting business drivers, and deliver superior insights that are concise, relevant, and timely.
Education College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.
Hybrid Workplace SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
