Coffee Roasting Operator

Ronnoco Beverage Solutions, the Midwest's leading supplier of specialty coffee, is looking for a Coffee Roaster to join our team at our headquarter's Manufacturing Plant in St. Louis, MO. The Coffee Roaster will plan and own the roasting schedule for the plant using our internal computer systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Review/understand production schedule & grinding/bin allocation screens for daily production. Review and understand roasting schedule Maintain coffee roasting schedules through computer systems. Understand bin quantities through SCADA screen (whole roasted & green coffee bins) Manage the green coffee request & dumping process Filling out dump request tickets Coordinate with green coffee techs to have coffee dumped/delivered Match and document completed dump tickets Manage roasting process through SCADA computer screens and understanding of master blend list Manage process control alterations including temp, time to the roasting systems to achieve Agtron specification for given blends Own and manage all paperwork and processes associated with roasting coffee Dump Ticket process (Green coffee Delivery) Roasting log (blend/formula name/roaster/time/temp/bin destination/Agtron level) Bin level documentation Execute all Agtron testing by batch Performs in conjunction with maintenance ACO (auto cleanout) procedures Tracks and records number of kick outs at green coffee metal separator and reports to quality Owns all whole bean rework add back (manually or automated) Owns and documents the roasting portions of the Organic process Strategize on roasting order to maximize roaster efficiencies Own and manage designated sections of master sanitation schedule Manage/Own all aspects of green coffee inventory within the existing bins Follow GMP rules while in a designated GMP area. Uphold the integrity of the SQF system and Food Safety Policy. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED required Strong computer experience Proven working experience in plant operations 1-2 years' previous work experience as a machine operator preferred. Ability to lift 50lbs Ability stand on feet for majority of day
