Cnc Supervisor

CNC Supervisor Butler, NJ 2 nd / 3 rd Shift Roles Available Manage the CNC Operators and develop skills through program training and coaching. Ensure sufficient staffing of CNC Machine operators needed to meet the production demands on all shifts. Job Functions: Designate daily machine assignments to operators in order to ensure machine utilization effectively and work with IT to develop operator production statistics. Maintain employee attendance and machine assignment records and print, distribute and collect production paperwork. Ensure smooth transition of job requirements from CNC Set-up personnel to CNC operators and from shift to shift. Monitor and enforce operator performance by working alongside operators, being available for questions in order to ensure machines are kept running and producing high-quality parts. Identify and report machine repair and maintenance issues and prioritize those within the department for the maintenance department. Suggest process improvements and equipment purchases. Hold responsibility for interviewing and training CNC operators. Qualifications: Must have at least 5 years' of experience in a supervisory role in a production environment. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and be trained in CNC machines and support equipment. Must have complete knowledge of metrology equipment and their uses including micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth micrometers, gauge pins, thread gauges and optical comparators. Must be fluent in MS Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word and Production Software Applications – Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
