Responsibilities
• Program and/or operate CNC machine components parts from bar stock• Select and change arbors, fixtures, speed, inserts and tooling to print specifications• Run first piece part and make necessary adjustments to attain quality characteristics• Complete necessary paperwork to attain a set-up approval• Load parts, cycle machine, check parts at designated intervals• Maintain machine operation including checking fluid levels• Surface grind and re-sharpen teeth on arbor as needed
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• Prefer 1 year of previous experience in manufacturing environment operating CNC machines• Experience with CNC machines such as Hardinge lathe, HAAS, Mazak, Ganesh, Doosan a plus• Experience with gages and micrometers• Ability to read and understand blueprints
