Our client is a well-established, family-owned aerospace manufacturer in Wethersfield for 75+ years, and has openings for CNC Milling and Lathe Machinists. Company is a low volume/high mix job shop, quantities typically of 1-5 pcs, most often times assemblies. ISO 9001:2015 certified. CNC Milling Machinist At least 3 years' experience in an aerospace job shop with low quantity parts, not production environment. Experience on 3 & 4 axis milling machines and on multiple different controls. Must be able to perform own set-ups, Understand & use work travelers, blueprints, programs, specs, locations of surfaces, machining parameters & tolerances (GD&T) Able to use common machining measuring tools CNC Lathe Machinist 3 years' experience Candidate must be able to perform multiple set-ups daily for small runs. Also must be able to read, interpret and work from blue prints, NOT OP sheets Experience in an aerospace job shop with low quantity parts, not a production environment Experience on MazakTraining on Mazatrol Programming will be given. 1st shift, excellent benefits which include medical, dental, life, short term disability and 401K with generous match. Paid holidays and vacation time. Must be willing to work additional OT when necessary.
