Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. They will set up machines, write and test programs, make adjustments as needed in order to produce precision wood products. Responsibilities we'll trust you with: CNC Programming: Develop and optimize CNC programs for woodworking machinery to manufacture a wide variety of architectural building products to specification. Proficiency in G-code and CAD/CAM software is required. Understand and adhere to material specific best practices when setting toolpath parameters. Machine Setup: Efficiently set up CNC woodworking machinery, ensuring that all parameters are aligned for precise and high-quality production. Operation: Safely and effectively operate CNC machinery to manufacture custom doors, windows, shutters, brackets, radius millwork, and other decorative elements, following exact specifications and quality standards. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure they meet quality and precision standards. Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment in optimal working condition. Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment. Your area of knowledge and expertise: Preferred qualifications: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in woodworking machinery. Proficiency in CNC programming, including G-code, and experience with CAD/CAM software. Strong ability to set up and operate CNC woodworking machinery for precision manufacturing. Previous experience with Biesse Rover CNC woodworking machinery is a major plus. In-depth knowledge of architectural building products, with a focus on custom doors, windows, shutters, brackets, radius millwork, and decorative elements. Exceptional attention to detail and precision to consistently produce high-quality components. Strong problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and optimizing machining processes. Safety-conscious mindset and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Skills: Strong verbal communication skills Highly organized Work independently, and as a member of a team Detail oriented Takes pride in completed works. Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and move materials and tools as required for the job. Stand for extended periods while operating CNC machinery.
