Position Overview Join our team as a CNC Machinist Level III and become an integral part of our manufacturing excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to producing precision parts and tools.
Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines, lathes, drill presses, sanders, buffers, bench grinders, and various hand tools using CAD/CAM software. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce accurate work. Assist with material and supply orders, receipt, and storage. Perform equipment repairs and modifications under supervision. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Complete documentation for work orders, including time and materials used. Adhere to safety, regulatory, and company policies (OSHA/ITAR/AS9100). Engage in continuous improvement and support all production activities as needed. Qualifications & Skills Proficient in CAD/CAM programming with minimal assistance. Capable of making 3-axis and 5-axis CNC parts from start to finish independently. Knowledgeable in feeds, speeds, and multiple part processing methods. Ability to read prints with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience teaching and transferring knowledge to peers. High School diploma or GED required. Shop math proficiency, computer literacy, and strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CNC machining in ITAR and/or AS9100 regulated environments. LEAN/TPM manufacturing experience.
