Job Summary: Responsible for operating CNC machine, tool and die maintenance
Required Qualifications and Skills; Ability to use Key Creator to produce 3D Machining for CNC programming and ECNS. Good English communication skills (oral and written) Minimum 3 years of automotive experience in building dies Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally. Possess own tools for setup (i.e. Dial indicator, edge finder, etc.) Critical Success Factors: Excellent attendance Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision Ability to work in a team environment and be a team player Flexibility to work rotating shifts as required and occasional alternative hours, if necessary to meet customer requirements. Support quality systems, health, safety and environmental management systems requirements. Ability to utilize problem solving techniques Respecting and understanding of the customer/ supplier relationship Professional and timely completion of tool room projects consistently Timely and organized response to tooling related problems that impact production requirements. Must be willing to work other shifts or perform other duties/tasks that are of reasonable request by management Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner and at no time is the employer or their co-workers placed in an unsafe condition. Responsibilities: Able to produce components to the tolerance specified on the designs and drawings. Responsible to maintain and record set up and run times accurately. Must physically inspect completed product to compute data for dimensional correctness before releasing it for use. Keeping CNC records up to date Able to read engineering designs and drawings Responsible for lubrication of machines as per our preventive maintenance schedules and work instructions. Record daily job numbers and hours accurately and in a timely manner Ability to communicate and work with fellow employees in a professional and respectful manner Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities', machinery, equipment and/or tools immediately to your supervisor Record and/or report product damage/nonconformities to your supervisor as required Participate and contribute to effective production efficiency Responsible for maintaining clean work area at all times All other duties as assigned by your supervisor and/or your manager. Working Conditions 100% plant floor (PPE required) Effort/Physical Demands Require communication with employees, peers and management Lifting and pushing as needed Health, Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Must work in accordance with health and safety regulations, company rules, plant rules, policies and procedures Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company. All employees are prohibited from walking under a suspended hoist, cranes or forklifts.
