CNC Machinist

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines to create precision parts based on engineering specifications. Conduct regular maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and effectively. Oversee the machining process, adjust settings as needed to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Examine and validate the quality of finished components against required standards. Identify and rectify any issues arising during the machining process. Work collaboratively with the engineering department to refine CNC programming and enhance operational efficiency. Maintain comprehensive records of production metrics, including output, waste, and machine maintenance activities. Qualifications:
Military veteran with experience in CNC machining roles. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with further technical training or certifications in CNC machining preferred. Demonstrated ability in operating and programming CNC machinery. Knowledge of CNC programming languages (such as G-code) and proficiency in reading engineering drawings. Experience with a variety of CNC equipment, including lathes, mills, and routers. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision in all machining tasks. Skilled in using various measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to meet production deadlines, working both independently and as part of a team.
