Cnc Machinist

The CNC Operator can run a variety of CNC machines and help to enhance the productivity of our organization. The successful candidate will perform work quality checks and monitor machine output. Job ResponsibilitiesTranslate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for productionPerform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projectsEnsure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the companyFollow all company safety protocolInspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shiftAttend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessionsIII. Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of machine maintenance and operation requiredMust possess strong basic math skillsProven history of working with gauges and calipersIV. Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED required10+ years' experience running CNC machinery (MAZAK experience highly desired)Working knowledge of GD&T preferredProven capability to troubleshoot and solve common manufacturing issues.Experience machining complex part geometriesV.
