What you'll do as a CNC Machine Operator: Perform complex setups from programs on machines to ensure that completed parts conform to print and process specifications Determine program edits required to adjust speeds and feeds in order to machine parts properly and efficiently Inspect finished parts using c using microscopes, tool maker's scope, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers, or other equipment Make adjustments to machine off-sets to achieve required tolerances Maintain adherence to production schedules and ensure quality inspections are completed in accordance with established procedures Perform routine maintenance Monitor manufacturing methods, processes, and procedures to ensure departmental goals are met Maintain and improve cost competitiveness including identifying, recommending, and implementing necessary improvements What you need to be a CNC Machine Operator: Diploma in Computer Integrated Machining, or currently enrolled in a program 1+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and understand complex blueprints Knowledgeable in precision measuring tools use Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to understand and interpret engineering prints and machining documentation and processes Proficiency in MS Office, CNC, and other software Ability to understand and implement AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies What are you waiting for?
