Busy Plymouth, MI area manufacturing company is seeking experienced CNC LATHE MACHINISTS. EMPLOYMENT DETAILS: Opportunities on all shifts. Weekday and weekend work available. Excellent starting pay, based on experience. Possible overtime/double time. JOB DUTIES: Set-up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks, such as drilling, grinding, etc. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work orders. Monitor machine operations, to ensure proper functioning. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot machine errors and perform maintenance tasks. Collaborate with engineers and programmers, to improve machining processes. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, including knowledge of Fanuc controls. Experience with tool selection, setup and operation. Ability to fabricate parts, using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges & calipers. Knowledge of programming languages, related to CNC machining. Mechanical knowledge, for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Familiarity with SolidWorks and GD&T principles.
