Schedule: Full-Time, ten-hour shifts, 4 days a week, from 9:30am-8pm, closed on weekends Shift : Days Location: 7700 S BROADWAY, Littleton, 80122 Facility Description : Since 1989, AdventHealth Littleton has been proud to serve the flourishing south metro Denver community as your partner in health. Providing whole-person care and treatment that is powered by faith, AdventHealth Littleton serves our local and regional communities in providing essential health care needs, including innovative neurology, orthopedic, cardiology and urology services, as well as the BirthPlace and acclaimed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). We are also a destination hospital for highly specialized care in emergency & trauma services, neurosciences, the Breast Care Center, and more. AdventHealth Littleton's focus on safety, sustainability, and excellent clinical performance has earned awards and recognition for programs in cardiac services, neurology, stroke, geriatric care, and more. The value you'll bring to the team: Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by a Registered Nurse. Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members. Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals. Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs. May perform in a sitter role. The role is mostly transporting patients from the recovery room to their vehicles via wheelchair and transporting patients from the recovery room upstairs to the floors.
Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : Required: High School Diploma OR GED (Required within one year of hire). Certified Nursing Assistant – State Registered. Current BLS through American Heart Association. Preferred: Six months previous CNA experience. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English basic computer skills. Previous customer service experience. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred.
