CMMS Inventory Management InternshipMain FunctionsPurpose: The purpose of this internship is to provide practical experience in inventory management through the reorganization and digital documentation of equipment spare parts using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This project is crucial for improving the accuracy of financial reporting and optimizing spare parts tracking at the facility. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a key operational area, contributing directly to the efficiency and financial stewardship of the organization.
Project Overview: June 5 – August 1, 2024 The intern will be responsible for organizing the physical inventory of spare parts, coding each part, identifying their locations, and uploading all relevant data into the CMMS. The project will involve optimizing the parts description to align with other locations within the company. This role is instrumental in providing the company with a detailed and accurate view of spare parts costs, which will enhance budget management and operational efficiency.
