Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Production Support?Provide CMM programming and gaging support, utilizing PC-DMIS and possibly Modus software languageCMM Inspection OptimizationCMM Calibration of fixtured and fixed gauge mastersInspection single point failure mitigationProgram language upgradesCMM program and machine troubleshooting Repair/Maintenance when applicable Coordination with CMM OEMsCustomer and Warranty SupportCustom CMM Programs as needed to verify conformance or confirm customer warranty DR Repair/Inspection report NPINew CMM Program development for RSS/ESM Repairs and SubstantiationsCMM spec/procurement consultant New equipment setup/program qualification Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 3+ years of CMM programming experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of CMM programming experience).Desired Characteristics:PC-DMIS programming experience preferred.MODUS CMM programming experience desired.Aviation experience desired.Strong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.Established project management skills.Additional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
