Responsibilities
• Deliver care according to standards of practice• Observe and report changes in resident's condition• Perform resident care activities as assigned• Answer call lights• Complete additional care training• Maintain required certifications• Attend in-service education• Perform other assigned duties• Administer medications following established standards• Monitor and record vital signs• Maintain cleanliness of med cart and med room
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED• Certification as a Medication Aide (C.M.A.) in this state• Current CPR/First Aid certification• Fluent English speaking/writing• Communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to maintain sanitary/safety practices• Desire to work with the elderly and/or disabled• Some computer literacy required• Ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally
