What You'll Do The Cryptographic Services team is seeking an expert Cloud Software Engineer to join our team, supporting our Secrets Management and Private PKI services. You will provide design and engineering and support for custom and 3rd party applications behind Cisco's growing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Our services are integral to critical business functions across the company. You will support a wide variety of internal Cisco teams needing secrets management, certificate authority (CA), and other cryptographic services. You will assist in updating existing applications to meet new business requirements, as well as work to develop new solutions for emerging technology. You will work with other architects and developers to craft and review other designs, assist in application testing (quality and security), and provide after-hours service support.
Who You'll Work With We are a centralized group of architects, developers, engineers and project/program managers that specialize in building applied cryptographic solutions, delivering key and certificate management capabilities to the company, as well as enabling the business to deliver enhanced services to Cisco's customers. From encryption to anti-counterfeit to software-signing to information rights management to product licensing, this group of hardworking individuals provide critical security services across the breadth of Cisco's internal and external functions.
Who You Are We are looking for an experience Cloud Engineer looking to jump into designing new, and improving existing, cryptographic services in a large enterprise environment. You are a highly motivated individual with 8+ years of experiencing in designing and supporting business critical applications in cloud environments. You have a strong desire and initiative to expand your skills in a highly critical and sophisticated environment with a focus on security. You have a passion for building and mentoring a team of hardworking cloud software engineers. You offer experience in cloud environments and a track record of prioritizing multiple tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience supporting AWS infrastructure Experience with Terraform Experience with Hashicorp Vault Preferred Qualifications
