Summary:
Develops, integrates, builds and supports system enterprise-wide applications. Advises and directs others on application of system integration principles to support business goals. Develops and implements formal system integration performance improvement programs.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieves integration through performance of assignments, correcting system, application & interface problems. Ensures application of integration quality standards across all projects. Creates and maintains project plans for assigned activities.
2. Integrates systems through analysis, design, code, test, documentation, and implementation of applications and interfaces, adhering to ITG system integration, quality, production turnover and change management standards.
3. Creates and maintains technical specifications and test plans. Provides estimates and makes recommendations to others based upon analysis. Reviews others' specifications, plans, and estimates providing feedback and recommendations as needed.
4. Pioneers new tools, techniques & processes. Customizes, adapts & verifies software. Automates processes associated with production application & environments & assists others. Supports enterprise-wide application-system production environments.
5. Prepares reports for customers as needed evaluation of quality indicators.
6. Supports IT knowledge management through documenting, maintaining, and improving system integration standards, processes, and practices, and assisting others to do so. Guides and mentors Clinical System Integration Specialist - Levels 1 and 2.
7. Develops & implements formal system integration performance improvement programs to enhance & sustain system, application and interface reliability, availability, stability, and integrity in support of overall departmental performance improvement goals.
8. Provides enterprise-wide system, application, and interface support and maintenance by responding to service requests and events logged in departmental problem management and reporting system, maintaining contact with customers as required.
9. Troubleshoots and corrects problems in accordance with ITG problem management standards. Performs root cause analysis. Assists others to resolve system, application, and interface problems. When required, seeks technical assistance in a timely manner.
10. Supports team efforts and direct others to achieve system, application, interface reliability, availabiity, stability and integrity goals. Meets established milestones and schedules.
11. Creates education plans and educates network staff as required for system implementaiton and support.
12. Maintains and enhances technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies and strategies through learning events (such as attendance at formal training programs, industry seminars, and self-education).
13. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
15. Provides 24/7 support through investigation & analysis of problems using documentation, manuals, debugging tools & logic to resolve problems, prevent recurrence & ensure continuity. Takes remote call for off-shift, weekends & holidays as assigned.
Other information:
Required: Bachelors Degree - clinical related degree, business or information services, minimum of five years job-related experience. Clinical staff training experience.
Minimum Experience: five years
Desired: Clinical license (RN, Resp Ther, Pharmacist, Pharm Tech) in addition to business or IS & certification in IS. Project mgmt exper, problem mgmt, analytical thinking, design, testing & system reporting skills, clinical system analysis, building & coding.
