Clinical Social Worker Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Licensed Clinical Social Worker for perinatal services will provide direct and indirect services to postpartum women and their families in an individualized or group setting. The candidate works with multi-disciplinary team to identify postpartum individuals with mental health needs and use evidence-based modalities to provide therapy as appropriate. Additionally, provide supportive care for perinatal grief and loss. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and work with multiple members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated continuity of care and treatment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school, three years of current experience in social work and demonstrated level of clinical social work skills indicative of the ability to engage in self-regulated practice are required. Minimum of one year providing supervision to social workers or other related fields is preferred.
LICENSURE
State licensure as an LCSW by the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners is required.
