We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist able to work: 24-32 hours per week Variable shifts M-F, as scheduled Pharmacist On-call rotation Clinical Pharmacist Order entry and verification of new orders, dispense medications, assures proper labeling and maintains adequate records for each patient according to regulations. Performs care plan reviews to assess patient status, appropriateness of orders, and communicates to providers when clarification or therapy alterations are needed. Maintain accurate documentation of all steps in the care of each patient. Adhere to all accreditation standards including but not limited to USP, OSHA, FDA, Colorado board of pharmacy, ACHC and quality assurance measures as set by the company. Orders and receives medications/supplies to ensure proper inventory level. Perform compounding calculations and utilizes data and guidelines to assign proper beyond use dates. Compliant with all USP sterile compounding guidelines. Compounds IV medications when needed, verifies compounding records, and files records appropriately. Maximizes the efficiency and productivity of the pharmacy and delivery operations. Detail oriented, accurate and good at prioritizing tasks. Preparation of delivery tickets containing medication and supplies needed for administration. Assists in the delivery of medications/supplies to facilities, when needed. Exceptional verbal etiquette with members of the healthcare team, fellow pharmacists, technicians, nurses, patients and healthcare professionals. Provides training and instruction to technicians and related healthcare personnel. Counsel patients and maintain proficiency with all equipment used to administer and dispense medications. Collaborate with fellow pharmacists, technicians, and nurses to service our patient's individualized orders and needs. Assist in the coordination of appointment scheduling to meet the needs of the patient. Maintains appropriate patient confidentiality at all times. Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call evenings and weekends on an as-scheduled basis Pharmacist Qualifications Current Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing Bachelor of pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree Current State of Colorado driver's license and your own transportation Experience working independently Energetic and positive attitude that will contribute to improving processes Preferred Skills Have worked at least 2 years as a licensed pharmacist At least 1 year infusion experience preferred with training in sterile admixtures Home infusion experience preferred Compensation and Benefits Starting wages $50-55/hr. based on experience Employees who work 24+ hrs. per week qualify for a full range of benefits including:
