Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is seeking candidates for the positions of part-time Clinical Nursing faculty in the School of Health Sciences. Faculty report directly to the Department Chair and will work closely with the Department Chair and program faculty in the clinical instruction of nursing students. Clinical faculty will be responsible for instruction in the clinical setting simulation laboratory and/or clinical skills practice laboratory. Responsibilities
Clinical instruction 12 hours per week each semester
Evaluate students in clinical settings and all clinical activities
Evaluate clinical sites for program evaluation
Complete all orientation requirements of clinical sites
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing
Excellent clinical skills across the life span
Recent clinical experience
Current Georgia nursing license in good standing with Georgia Board of Nursing
Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required
Strong commitment to student engagement and shared governance Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 year experience in clinical teaching in higher education Conditions of Employment
