Department Description
This role is for Clinical Instructors to teach clinical rotations for the Master's Entry Program in Nursing (MEPN) prelicensure graduate degree. Clinical instruction will take place in various hospitals and community agencies in the region that meet the Board of Registered Nursing requirements.
Clinical Instructors serve as part of the educational team and will collaborate with didactic teaching faculty to ensure all course objectives are met for each student. Training and development is offered before instruction begins.
The outcome of the clinical education will be that students learn how to organize and prioritize clinical care while using the nursing process as a means of problem solving and clinical decision-making. The clinical educator applies knowledge about the curriculum and the profession to achieve the goals. Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) Masters degree in Nursing or related field Possession of valid California RN license Graduation from an accredited school of nursing CPR Certification Department Description
